I love that he is planning to finish his education at Marquette...but does anybody have any clue as to who will be paying his tuition? I can't imagine he's still receiving scholarship $$$$...
He remains on schoalrship, but is no longer counts agianst the 13 basketball scholarship limit, because he physically cannot play again. This happens all the time and is permitted by the NCAA. The scholarship probably comes out of Blue & gold Fund donations.
It would have to be a cold organization that refuses to give a guy whose career just ended the hook on scholarship dollars. There's some kind of emergency fund that accounts for this sort of thing.
I wonder if he has medical clearance to play intramural games. I remember when Todd Townsend stayed on for one year as "Director of Basketball Operations" or whatever title Crean gave him as a favor, he was allowed to play in the intramural league but had to sign something saying that he would not go full speed and would not dunk.
What's wrong with him medically that prevents him from playing?

The condition is undisclosed. Most presume its a heart condition of some kind. Sad that we won't be able to see him playing in an MU uniform.
