My grandaughter told my son that her class was introduced to a 7ft 2 current sophmore who will be transferring to Pius in the fall. She believes he is from Africa.
local talent baby.
HAHAHAHAHAH AWESOME! I remember when everyone was talking about Yi Jianlian's brother after he was drafted by the Bucks. The 6'7 HS Freshman was supposed to be the stud on the Marquette High school team and their newest student....Obviously that never happened.
Got to Love rumors.
I was sure it was not his brother. Just wondered it it was true there was a 7ft 2 in kid transferring to Pius. I find that amazing on its face.
Doubt it, but who knows. After they got Lucious and Montrelle Clark, and with Claasen running that "oh-so-classy" program, anything is possible. But it won't matter, they still won't win a state title (or even make it to Madison). Claasen hasn't yet figured out the way to cheat through the boys' game like he could the girls'.

It's wasn't Yi Jianlan's brother who was going to attend MUHS, it was a friend's son from the town Yi grew up in.

Tom Diener? The man is a legend of coaching. Does he get the kids he wants... sure. But any man who can get kids from MPS schools to play as a team deserve much much much credit, whether you want to believe it or not.
