We don't have any space for him, right?
Unless you know something I don't know... ;)
For him I think we can find some room

He's on RSCI's list for 2008-09. Is he attending prep school?
All indications are that Buzz is still recruiting for this year.

He's a class of 2009 player right now, but the story out of Florida is that he asked for his release because he's got no shot at qualifying for next year. He'll likely he'll have to do a prep year and become a 2010 recruit.
He's currently at Hargrave Military Academy which has both a HS and prep program. It remains to be seen whether or not he'll stay there for a prep year given that there were rumors he lost his starting spot this year.
If Buzz is still recruiting then Liam's status must still be up in the air.
As much I like Liam's size and theoretical potential, if he is unable to play and we were able to real in a kid like this I would consider it a huuuuge upgrade.
Why would we be so hot on him if he doesn't even start for his prep/hs?
we just went throught 4 years w/ a guy who was 6' 9''( or so they say) who didn't start for his HS team and how did that turn out? We don't need another. PASS on Painter
I Think that If Painter goes to another prep year and Marquette get him for 2010 that it would be a great upgrade with a player who can have another year to put weight on and become a more physical shot blocker. Painter has a lot of upside and could really contribute for 2009 or 2010.
