Yesterday was an instant classic in Chicago.
Started the day at Murphy's watching the Bulls and Derrick Rose beat the Celts in OT to take Game 1 in the Garden, then walked into Wrigley. Quickly notice on the scoreboard that the Brewers lose again...1-0.
Cutler throws out the first pitch, sings the Stretch and Ramirez beats the Cards with an 11th inning walkoff setting off chaos in Wrigleyville at 6:30PM.
Postgame beer at Vines, get in a cab to the UC.
Ditka drops the puck, Dempster dressed to mock Don Cherry does the 2nd itermission shoot-the-puck contest (he had more control on his shot than he did with most of his pitches), my seats are 4 away from Vince Vaughan and the Hawks storm back from an 0-2 start to score 3 in the second to win 3-2 and take a 2-0 series lead. Incredible atmosphere at the UC!
Oh yeah, the Sox won too but I won't spend any time talking about that. ;)
Good times.

I was also at the Cubs game and it was amazing! Great game, great atmosphere, and what a finish!
I haven't been to a cubs game since I lost my ticket connection, but they are always great fun. As to the rest of your day, what a fluke of lucky coincidents! Truly one to savor.
Vince Vaughn circa Swingers and Made would have been 1000 times better.
