Title: Dominique Ferguson
Post by: WarriorMU on April 08, 2009, 01:28:36 PM
A former 2010 commit for Kentucky who has been released from his letter of intent, has indicated in a rivals article that Marquette has been in contact with him.  He is the 6th rated player in the 2010 class, and although it appears Purdue may be his leader at this point, it certainly would be nice to get him on campus.

Kinda interesting -- His high school is Lawrence North in Indy, the same school Greg Oden and Mike Conley, Jr. attended.

Rivals has him as the 6th ranked player in class, Scout has him as the 9th ranked overall.  Nice

ESPNU's No. 16 ranked prospect in the Class of 2010, Dominique Ferguson, has decided to re-open his recruitment following John Calipari's hiring at Kentucky, according to The Lexington Herald-Leader. The 6-foot-7 Ferguson will still consider the Wildcats while entertaining other high-major offers

Where do you see him at 205?  I see him at 16th in the '10 class.  His weight is at 205.   ;)

I was saying he is 205 pounds, mocking the earlier post doggin' such a high rank recuits weight, thus the teal ( it was a bad attempt at humor).

If we got this kid that would be out of this world amazing, however I am not going to hold my breath. There will be a lot of big names going after this guy, including JC at Kentucky. I get the feeling he sticks with Kentucky.

Just caught this...

"As summer rosters tend to fluctuate, the (Spiece Indy) Heat doesn't have one of the players Boo Williams originally thought would be with the team.

Betts said Dominique Ferguson, another top-10 recruit, is with another AAU team this summer."
