As per the Minneapolis Star Tribune:
"St. Bernard's forward Trevor Mbakwe turned in an impressive performance Saturday in the opening game of the Minnesota/Wisconsin Border Battle at Tartan High School, with 28 points in a 73-64 victory over Randolph (Wis.). He is averaging 22 points per game and recently qualified academically to play for Marquette."
So much for the worries that he wouldn't be eligible, I guess. That's good b/c I think he's a great fit for the team next year.
Here is some additional information on Mbakwe and Christopherson in yesterday's border battle courtesy of Mark Miller and wishoops.
