Not close. Cubs really wouldn't bother me. In the end its just another team not named the Brewers winning the WS. UW-Madison would be a different story all together.

Not so much in the current college age bracket, I don't think. I was 5 when the Brewers moved out of the AL, and we only get the White Sox once in a blue moon in an interleague series. As far as I'm concerned, I hate the Cubs far worse than I'll ever hate the White Sox.
Both of these scenarios would make me want to gauge my eyes out, though.
