We were oh so close.
for those of us that are getting the other game.... is Mizzou that good? Memphis that bad? Or is it just one of those nights??
Looks like both.
Also, doesn't hurt either this is the first real opponent that Memphis has faced since playing Gonzaga. Awfully easy to rack up 27 straight wins when you're playing CUSA teams.

Memphis having more trouble with the press that we did. It has really knocked them off their game.
Memphis is trying to rally. The fact is Marquette lost to a team that is playing at a very high level now. If Villanova, Syracuse and Missouri win in this round 7 out of MU's 10 losses will be against teams in the Great 8. They also lost to Dayton that made the the second round and Tennessee that lost in the first round at the buzzer. The only stinker was South Florida.
Bilsu,
Too funny. I posted this exact thing in the Nova/Duke post. Great minds think alike!
Memphis coming back.
