I'd say right now we're at a combination of The Guillotine and The Stomach Punch

Simmons wrote that The Guillotine + The Stomach Punch = "That Game"
Level I: That Game
Definition: Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. ... One of a kind. ... Given the circumstances and the history involved here, maybe the most catastrophic sports loss of our lifetime.
Personal Memory: The only game that actually combined The Guillotine and The Stomach Punch. No small feat. Let's just hope we never travel down that road again. Personally..."That Game" to me was last year's loss to Stanford.
come on? comparing these to game 6? lets just call this a classic guillotine.
The loss to Mizzou, painful as it was is definitely not 'That Game.' Stanford last year was much more painful, but to lose the way we did and being it the Three Amigos last game.....hurts. Bigtime.
I completely agree, the Stanford loss last year was pretty bad and hurt a little more than today. Duing the Stanford game I had the feeling that we were going to win which made the loss worse. Today for some reason I had the feeling we were going to lose, even when we got up by 4. Both were tough but last year was worse; maybe I'm just getting use to us losing so many close games in heartbraking fashion.
With all this being said, though, its tough to see the three amigo's career end.
