I know it's early, but it'll be interesting what's being said in the morning:

Some snippets:
"For the record, I don't believe this changes a whole lot. James hasn't played in weeks and won't get to play more than 20 minutes or so I wouldn't think. Without normal conditioning, against a team like Missouri, I don't think James will have a huge impact. Still just shocking news though. I never thought that at 12:30 AM the night before the game we'd find out something like this."
"I'm not saying that Mizzou would roll over them with or without James in the lineup, but this sounds like a coach that knows what he's up against, and doesn't have much of a choice but to play the guy. I also get the sense that the foot isn't completely healed, but good enough to go without a high chance of seriously re-injuring it."
"He won't be in game condition, and once he gets tired, he'll make mistakes. Frankly, I'm not concerned at all who Marquette plays or doesn't play.
If we play our game, we'll win either way..."
And one of the better ones (the post's author edited it later hence the nm):
"RE: and Al McGuire to coach... (nm)

No joke, it's in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel"
They sound pretty confident. And who wouldn't after beating Baylor and Cornell
Hey, we were only number 1 in the big east when DJ was playing for us. Since then, only our bench has gotten stronger.
the Al McGuire line is hilarious....or I'm just giddy at 1:43 a.m. over the DJ news. Unbelievable.
Wow - that's the first time I visited their board (terrible place BTW - no way to view an entire thread??).
Anyhow, they seem a little too confident about this game. No doubt, I think it'll be a good game - James or no James. After seeing UConn and Villanova roll over opponents today, you have to happy with the way Marquette is playing.
These baby tigers just might be victims of their own confidence.
I don't like the GE nickname, but I do like this video...

The Tigers are so excited to be playing a game without the threat of an NCAA probation that they're giddy. Let's kick their butts. GO MU

After viewing that video, I must say, I am having second thoughts about the nick! :)
If Father DiUlio had seen this video in the early 1990's, we would probably be nicknamed the marsh mellows instead.
This is bad news for Mizzou. I don't think DJ will put up his regular minutes, but we have no depth......adding another player is HUGE.
Tonight we will have video of Golden Eagles dragging Tigers off of the side of the cliffs of Idaho.
Too bad we didn't play VCU.
What an awful board - what are they all, pre-adolescents or something? Terribly disorganized as well.
They fail to realize that DJ at 50% is athletically more gifted than A LOT of college players......dude was the #2 athlete in the pre-draft a few years ago....a freak amongst freaks
