Holy Shiz!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(p.s. sorry I doubted you Marqtte)
It says he practiced for 90 minutes today with the team. Count me in as being among those stunned by this news. Obviously he's not going to play many minutes but talk about a psychological boost.
To quote Led Zeppelin...Dancing Days are here again!
this is difficult to believe! How can this be possbile? I hope it is tru, but put me in hte stunned column if it is!
Whoever posted this possibility a day or so ago, I apologize. The post was even removed by moderators, thought the guy was nuts.

I like it- Headline: "Bionic James" returns to lead Warriors to the Sweet 16!"
this made my day. ;D
Holy schneickies!
What. A. Warrior.
I guess, if MU was going to dance for the last time, he'd make sure he was on the dance floor for it.
GO MARQUETTE!

I just looked it up, because I posted in the thread just saying "...no". Well, I guess you can't blame the skepticism. It was the guy's first post.
In any case.... I'm speechless. Rarely am I floored by sports news. But this is really something.
Let's win it for Dom. Let's win it with Dom.
Go Warriors.
It kind of has a Reggie White feeling about it!

You must have missed the Just Kidding, Just Kidding. I was doing my best 4everwarriors impersonation and wondering if Crean was here how many nanoseconds it would take him to post that very thing. ;)
I'm obviously thrilled for DJ....the tears in his eyes against UCONN were gut wrenching for me. I hope they can bring home a victory for him tomorrow. It should really get the team pumped up even more than I suspect that are already.
By the wail, Alec Baldwin played that character.....he's one of your guys isn't he? :D Did he ever move to Canada like he promised?

I don't know that we removed any posts (maybe someone else did), but sincere apologies to "gooseb70" - I thought he was completely nuts - and this thread did get locked.

Also, goose, please post again so that I can get a free beer :)
But back to the topic -- holy crap! Even if he plays 1 minute, I can hardly believe it! Always knew he was an athletic freak, guess we had to add medical freak to his resume too. In the video interviews posted earlier, he did say he was going to try to be the quickest ever to recover from something like this.
Well done DJ!
this is the stuff legends are made of and although i dont wanna get ahead of myself, a d james inspired win tomorrow would undoubtedly solidify him as one of the more if not most legendary mu player EVER.

Besides the free beer, holy crap... DJ really to come back? Still seems like a dream to me... really??? Wow... really?? WOW...
So much for being able to sleep tonight... WOW... GO DJ & MU!!!!
FIRE UP MARQUETTE!!!!
Like I've been shouting from the balconies...
FROM...RICHMOND INDIANA.......

DOMINIIIIIIC JAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I too apologize to the poster yesterday, we thought the poster was off his Ritalin. Woke up and thought I was dreaming when Sportscenter had it as one of their main stories.
This is like the Willis Reed syndrome.
Just the physchological lift for this team will be unreal, plus Mizzo now has to change their preparations and don't know what to think.
Another guard against the Mizzo relentless defense will be an advantage. Don't know how many minutes he will see, but if he is in at end of game and it is close, please Buzz let someone else touch the ball. No FTs for DJ.
Maybe he can pull a Ty Lawson. That kid was awesome in second half yesterday for UNC.
This should be real interesting.
Just spoke to DWade (yes, Chicos, I too know people in high places), and he will suiting up vs. Missouri. Has been cleared to use his extra year of eligibility.
I really hope he doesn't do major damage to his foot. There's no way that the bone healed in 4 weeks.

I believe there are other apologies owed to MARQTTE as well. Mosaur being one. I think other people need to realize there are people on this board that know more than you (by the way, I am not one of them) but cannot often divulge their sources.
Glad I did not start a post because I heard on Thursday there was a chance he'd play Sunday. After my Wilson fxxk up I figured I'd keep my mouth shut.

That was the first thing that came to my mind...The Packers rallied around that thing in a bog way, and I suspect Mu will do the same today. At the very least it should be an additional 20-30 quality minutes they can cover. Beyond that I suspect emotionally it will be a massive lift.
Now, if so many people around here heard about this, I suspect Mike Anderson probably had an idea as well, but you have to wonder if his team has seen any film that included James, or if they worked him into their preparation at all.
I'm sure the doctors wouldn't take chances with his re-injuring the foot.

No doubt. Nor I suspect would Dominic. He is undoubtedlycommitted to this team, but individually he also has bigger fish to fry in the coming months.
"I have been to the Great Wall of China.
I have seen the Pyramids of Egypt.
I've even witnessed a grown man satisfy a camel.
But never in all my years as a sportscaster have I witnessed something as improbable, as impossible, as what we've witnessed here."
Honestly, playing 10-15 minutes today boosts his chances at playing at the next level, showing what a Warrior he is.

Not of he can't do any workouts or anything next month. If there is any sort of chance of making things worse, no way it.
