that the attendance at the Metrodome was just over 15,000 for the afternoon session and 12,000 for the night session?I realize its a tough economy and prices are high for the games, but couldn't have commitee have done something place like MU and possibly UW there? You can't tell me that people for around here or even up north wouldn't have traveled.Instead people in Minneapolis have little to no teams of rooting intrest to watch. With those ticket prices, its difficult to sell tickets.
Somehow they managed to put 8 seed osu in Dayton so I would think yes for MU.
No favors for a 12 seed though.
1990 Warrior - how about Nova playing UCLA at the F-U center?

The attendance figures would be fine if they were playing in the Target Center instead of the dome.

That maybe true, but if its going to be at the dome, then why not put as many teams there that will fill the seats with their fans?
Well, the problem is that the west basically sucked this year, and you have venues in Portland and Boise to fill. They put Washington and Gonzaga in Portland. Missouri and Xavier are the highest seeds in Boise.
You aren't going to move Marquette to Minnesota...but you can move Missouri there which would have brought Marquette with them. But then you are shipping either Kansas or Michigan State out to Boise.
