Wisconsin was the 2nd to last team in the tournament. I didn't say Wisconsin was no good, I said they weren't as good as they were in years past. Why do you need to make up stuff up?
They will probably make the sweet 16 this year -Are they usually elite 8 material. Just admit you were wrong.

Are you really saying Wisconsin is at a level this year that they've been the last few....when they won 30+ games back to back years....really? Really?
::)
Nothing wrong to admit, they aren't as good as they have been in years past, which is why the committee barely put them in and gave them a 12 seed. I think the committee would have given them a much higher seed if they were as good as years past, don't you?
Cheese stakes will kill a brain.
actually the head of the selection committee said that UW got bumped down to a 12, not because they belong there, but because that is where they fit.
but nice try.

So you're saying they should have been say a 4 seed and got bumped to a 12? What did they get bumped down from an 11 seed? The committee chairman also said it is FAIR to say that Wisconsin and Arizona were among the LAST SCHOOLS INVITED. But nice try.
Seriously, are you really saying Wisconsin is as good this year as the last few years? That was the comment I made about Wisconsin (though mviale puts different words in someone's mouth, why I don't know)....I'll stand by that statement. Wisconsin is not as good as the last few years.
FSU gagged big time tonight. 12 point half time lead and they just pissed it away, much like their conference brethren are in this tournament.
Love to see you sweat - They just took longer to get started this year.
The joke is not that UW was a 12 but that Florida State was a 5. FSU would have finished sixth in the BE. Congrats to the Badgers, though.
Just admit you are wrong, Wisconsin isn't the team they were the last few years. To use a saying from a hero of yours, they play like they're in the Special Olympics. ;D
Can we retire you to Crawford with your hero, if the Badgers make the sweet 16?
I'm just depressed that Mr. Special Olympics himself, Bo Ryan, finally got his better seed win.
We have had a hard time beating lower seeds! A win is a win
ACC sucks (compared to the BE) ... all they have is Duke and UNC. The first round records illustrate my point quite well. Heck ... they're the worst off of pretty much all conferences with more than 2 at large bids.
It just isn't the conference it used to be.

I detest when people take one result from the tournament and try to say it justifies a point of view.
Wisconsin is light years away from Ryan's best teams in the past. Florida St. gave that game away. Although it pains me, you have to give Bucky credit. They got the "W."
However, I still think Xavier takes them down but you never know. That's what's great about this tournament.
Just don't take one/two games and act like it settles a season long result.

Agreed. Wisconsin is not bad, nor are they good. They are nowhere near the team they have been the past several years, and I suspect that will become clear against Xavier. I would say the same for FSU. I do think they did what they had to to earn their seed, but I would also say they aren't a particularly good team.
