Teams We Hate Duke, Eric Devendorf, and five more odious things about this year's NCAA Tournament.

Fun read. I do think, however, he's wrong about Bilas. No way he's as obnoxious as Billy Packer.

I'd never seen KenPom's "luck rating" .. MU is 191 out of 344. I'm surprised we're not lower.
I'm not a big Slate.com fan, but anyone who dislikes and calls out Calhoun earns at least a thumbs up.

And... Getting off the topic here. There's some good writing at nearly every outlet. There's some crap writing. Have a filter, know your source, and you have the knowledge to make informed opinions. The author of your posted link takes issue with a particular article, that doesn't mean they're all bad.
If you choose to listen to Dick Vitale you're going to wind up loving Duke and UNC (unfortunately some people do). If you filter what he says, you can can insight into smaller programs and younger players.
The weird Pomeroy ratings are pretty interesting. Accounting for experience, effective height (Jimmy jumps higher), point distribution... you can drive yourself insane crunching the numbers.
Go Marquette!
Wow, I can't believe the Slate author is hating on North Dakota State. It's not like they did anything wrong by redshirting those guys. At least those guys have a chance to play in the NCAA tournament now. Those guys all made a five-year committment for this one shot at the tournament and they got there. I think they're a good story, not a team to hate.
I don't understand the NDSU hate, but while I like Bilas I am getting tired of him saying "tough" every other sentence. It's becoming as annoying as Vitale calling Calipari a "master motivator" for using the "no respect" card. Like that's a unique idea.
