To the right of the home page, they have a Podcast section where they have each hour of the show on demand. I would presume sometime after 10 am they'd have the 9am hour with Buzz on it.
PS: In case you didn't know already, Brian Hanley is an MU grad and shamelessly supports MU on the radio and in the SunTimes. Between Hanley and his radio show and SunTimes gig, and the sports editor at the Tribune being from MU, we've got great representation in Chicago.
PPS: I'm listening right now, and Mully and Hanley and Jerry Pom are saying MU should go to the Sweet 16 but have a hard time with Memphis. All agreed if DJ was playing they could take on Memphis. I agree.
good timing on me getting up. lol
Pom on there now saying Boise better have a lot of beer w/ MU and Madison both heading out there.

Dan McGrath at the Trib just stepped down and is not longer the Sports Editor. He is now a reporter/columnist.

Didn't know that. Thanks.
If someone could summarize the interview for those at work, that would be awesome.
Recap:
-Mully & Hanley joked about Buzz being on because of Hanley
-Talked about losing James, how the team hasn't quit
-Asked Buzz about playing UConn, Pitt, Louisville all in a row. Buzz talked about not being beat from start to finish in any of these games
-Buzz thinks Syracuse is as talented as UConn, Pitt, 'Ville
-Hanley talked about Matthews comments about how the team is confident, Buzz talked about teams transitition offense, lack of defense without James
-Mully asks about travelling to Boise to play a "home" game for Utah St., Buzz responds by joking that if he's at MU for 10 years, he'll have equity to complain about things like that. Buzz said Utah St. athletic dept called MU on Monday asking if they could buy every one of MU's allotted tickets
-Buzz talks about Utah St...top 5 program in number of wins over last few years, discusses how old of a team they are, how state of Utah continually has many teams in tournament (3 this year)
-Buzz wrapped up by joking about being able to be on the show in the future with Hanley
Overall, Buzz sounded better than I thought he would. Well spoken, very detailed in his answers, came off sounding articulate and representing the program well

Nice recap....I agree....Buzz sounded great. One of the best interviews he's done as our coach. Sounds like the crowd will be very pro-Utah State.
Thanks for the recap, Dish!
Buzz is a fun interview... always a straight shooter.

I'll do my best to counteract their noise. Looking forward to seeing any other MU fans out in Boise.

I came across an article today somewhere in which USU claims to have distributed 4,000 tickets yesterday alone. Don't know what the Taco Bell Center capacity is, but my guess is USU has half the building, if not more.
Taco Bell arena seats a little over 12k, hope they aren't serving Taco Bell food at the concession stands that smell could pemeate the concourses, etc.
Man USU is certainly gobbling up tickets.
I guess the good news (for me), is that I can't make it Friday, but will probably drive up for Sunday if we win. In which case, I expect a lot of tickets to be available for Sunday's session :)
Will be important for MU to get a decent lead no later than early second half. The place will be devoid of any atmosphere that early in the session, but if it is close, that atmosphere and energy will quickly develop as everybody in the place will get behind the underdog.
12,000???? How on earth are they get awarded NCAA games?

Dayton only holds 13,455, and they've been getting first round tourney games for years and years.

And when was the last time the BC hosted NCAA tourney games?

The 2006 tourney? I know it was at least a couple years ago
1st and 2nd rounds are at the BC in 2010, BC also is a suitable regional site but MU for some reason prefers the first weekeknd of games.
I don't have trouble with Dayton or Boise hosting games what ticks me off is when places are not sold out, if you can't sell 95% of your seats then you shouldn't have any tournament games in future years.

2004 was the last time the BC hosted the NCAA. Pitt beat UW on Sunday, I think the last game of the session.
As sailwi said, the Bradley Center will be hosting opening rounds next year: Friday and Sunday, March 19 and 21, 2010. My advice? buy tickets to that event as soon as they come out.

was the question regarding jerels retarded deep three with 50 seconds left against Nova brought up?
hayward - i really have ZERO problems with Jerel's 3 in the next to last possession. if he makes it, we're almost assured a win. if he doesn't, we'll get the last chance to, at worst, tie. if he doesn't take that, but runs down the clock and misses, it becomes the same situation as what actually happened, except villanova gets more time to set-up for the win. if he runs it down and makes it, we'll be up, but villanova will have a good amount of time to set-up a play for the win/tie. i don't approve of that decision except in that situation.
well then you have very little knowledge or concept of time/score situations and the difference between a good shot and a bad shot. I have less of a problem witht he timing really than the shot and the fact that it was a zero pass possesion. # 's off the dribble have historically gone in about 20+% of the time. Is that the shot we want absolutely not, 2 seconds on the shot clock is one thing 15 seconds we had more than enough time to move the ball around for a better shot even if that shot was a 3 off ball reversal or an inside out side pass. 3's off the catch have historically gone in 40+% of the time. It was aterrible shot for alot of reasons. jerel gets into the mind set of wanting to carry the team and that can be devastting in basketball. As al used to say " if they double team my all-american and he does not pass we will lose" nothing has changed in 30 years.

Actually MU isn't suitable for a regional. I worked three tournaments while at MU and the NCAA told us that we don't have the media space in the building to accomodate a regional.

Having played at Pitt and @ The Ville, this will not compare. So they have a few thousand fans, big frigging deal.

I'll vouch for that. At the BC for the Uconn game anyone that wasn't there specifically for the press conferences had to exit the media room. normally there's a little space for marketing interns, etc to catch a tidbit. I can't imagine the media masses that would show up for a tournament session.
