In his notes today he said Boise is the only region without a marquee team. thanks andy.
I'm guessing he wouldn't have said it if DJ was healthy and MU and Missouri were flipped.
No Love from lunardi either... he picked us as an upset in the first round.

The adobe tournament preview video...It seems odd to me that he would pick this because we are just a more athletic team and must not be watching how we played in those last 5 games even with out D James.
We showed we could hang with the top tier in college basketball and would have had a victory against cuse and nova ....
Take heart ... last time MU was a popular pick for a first-round upset it was against Holy Cross. Things turned out OK that year.
And, no, I'm not predicting a Final Four run.

Last year LOTS of people were taking Kentucky to beat up on lowly Marquette
I'm not scared, bring on the Aggies.

St. Joe's.

Really? St. Joe's has a Bracketologist on staff?

Actually, Lunardi is a VP for Marketing/Communications at St. Joe's, plus their radio color guy.
I wish I got paid to be the guy who just makes brackets for 4 months of the year once a week...
Would be nice.
I heard Katz on ESPNU during that selection show special Sunday night. He actually picked Marquette as his sleeper team out in the West regional FWIW.
