Lmao... aside from reading that the big east will not get one team past the first weekend, he says that wisconsin will make it to the elite 8 before losing to duke. Wisconsin will be lucky to get past fsu.

The company that owns the newspaper originally linked also owns the Syracuse Post-Standard. Its likely that the articles are connected to all the websites and share a comments section.

My recent email to Bill Simonson

First of all, let me start out by saying you sir....are a dumbass. I honestly hope that your whole point of writing your article about how the Big East is overrated was to gain more attention so that more people will read the crap that you put on paper. Let's take a look at how the Big Ten and Big East have fared up to this point in the NCAA tournament shall we?

Big East: Louisville - W
Marquette - W
Syracuse - W
West Virginia - L
Pittsburgh - W
Villanova - W, W (oh ps, they are the FIRST team past the second round dumbass)
Connecticut - W, Currently winning by 20 points

Big Ten: Michigan State - W
Illinois - L
Wisconsin - W
Michigan - W
Purdue - W
Ohio State - L
Minnesota - L

So far, there are 3 teams out in the Big Ten and only one in the Big East. The Big East has combined for 7 wins already (and looking at 8 because oh yeah....UCONN is up 22 now) and one loss. Meanwhile, the Big Ten has combined for 4 wins and 3 losses. If you can do math (which I highly doubt) then you'll realize the Big East's winning percentage to this point in the tournament outshines the Big Ten's by FAR. So again let me say..... you sir, are a dumbass. Oh yeah, how much money are you going to be donating to that charity??

This idiot Simonson aside, once again people are so focused on the Big Ten but we are missing another story... the ACC. Also with seven teams, and before UNC and Duke tip off today, are 3-5. Admittedly, UNC and Duke could make big runs, but I think the argument on the ACC having depth this year has been debunked.

Yes I totally realize the ACC isn't as good as everyone thought apparently. I was just writing to him about the Big East and Big Ten because that's what the article was about.

Well if you don't want to get insulted don't make idiotic statements that make you an easy target. The guy is seriously brain dead and I could care less if he took me seriously or not. I just wanted to write the email..... maybe he should think next time before he writes something so stupid.
