I'm saying the committee designates the following as #1 seeds:
Memphis
North Carolina
Pitt
Louisville
I'll predict:
#1:
Louisville
Pitt
UNC
Uconn
#2:
Memphis
Oklahoma
Duke
MSU
#3:
Kansas
Wake
Nova
Mizzou
#4:
Syracuse
Gonzaga
Washington
Clemson
I think your number 1s are on the moey, but if Clemson and Gonzaga get 4 seeds, its time to shut the thing down.
uconn
pitt
lville
unc
I'm agreeing with 4ever in that the committee gives 1's to Memphis, Pitt, 'Ville, and UNC. However, in my opinion, giving Memphis a 1 over UConn doesn't make much sense.
Louisville, UNC, Pitt and I think memphis gets that last #1 even though I don't think they really deserve it. Too many other teams lost though so its hard to look past them.
Yeah, I think you have to give it to Memphis just because everyone else but Louisville lost. But my guess is that they lose to whomever is the #2 seed in their region, be it UNC or UConn.
I just hope we are not the #7 seed having to potentially face UNC.

Attached is the mock Fox Sports Brackets. This guy has us as a 10 seed. Can you imagine?
Back to topic:
Louisville
Pitt
UNC
Memphis
MU a ten seed and UW an eight?
Retarded.
Just goes to show you the minds of some sportswriters. He also gave Maryland an 8. This is going to be a long day.

Here's Lunardi's latest: Has us as a 7, against Dayton in Minn.
I will expect a 7 against a Big Ten team, but hold out hope for a 6, and acknowledge an equal chance for an 8.
NC, Louisville, Pitt, Memphis
Memphis has won 25 straight and won some decent, not great, out-of-conference games highlighted by a win at Gonzaga. I'm probably one of the few who think they "deserve" a No. 1 seed. I also could see them getting knocked out in the second or third round depending on the matchup.
I'm hoping for a 6 for MU but I'm always one line off each year, so I'm guessing a 7.
UNC
PITT
Louisville
MSU
Will be/Should be:
UNC/Pitt
Pitt/UNC
Louisville/Uconn
Memphis/Louisville
So far it's unanimous: UNC, Pitt, Louisville.
The last one: Memphis, UCONN or MSU?
I say UCONN.
Memphis. Pretty much because everyone but Louisville has lost this week.
UNC, Pitt, Louisville and UConn. I'm not totally sold on UNC to be honest though. I thought about putting Memphis in ahead of them. As has been pointed out, the concensus here is Pitt, Louisville and UNC, but I would argue two points regarding UNC vs. UConn. Look at the body of work - there's an argument to be made for either team. Then since they both lost their last game, look at who their opponent was and one could argue UConn's loss was not "as bad." So we revert to the polls before the tourneys, and that's where UNC is ahead of UConn I guess. I don't know, perhaps I talked myself out of it, and maybe it's the rose colored BEast glasses, but I think UConn is a better team.
I'd say there has to be legitimate questions in the committee's mind about Lawson's status as well, and that certainly could work against UNC. In the end I don't think so, but I hope at least they are seeking out more detail on his 'bruised toe.'
Pitt
Memphis
Lousville
UNc
Looks like me, romey, chapman and warrior55 nailed it. The BE is one tough MF this year.

Navin, you are correct. Sorry for the slight.
I'll let it slide this time.
