Title: The Convict from Syracuse is Stepping up Big
Post by: willie warrior on March 14, 2009, 11:40:51 AM
Anybody notice that the borderline convict at Syracuse, Dinkledork has been stepping up big for Syracuse? The guy should have been suspended for the year, but instead Boewhine gave him about a 10 minute suspension.

He will likely make the all tourney team.

Syracuse definitely is playing well and will do some damage in the big dance.

I don't know who I hate more, Pitino or Boewhine. Oh I forgot THuggins.

So, you know for a fact the accused was guilty???????

I like what Bilas said last night (and I'm paraphrasing) in response to Schulman saying Devendouche-nozzle is a terrific player:  "Well, he's terrific OFFENSIVELY, he doesn't rebound, and he doesn't play defense."

Also he made a comment about his screaming saying something like, you just made a tough shot Eric, now get back down the floor and play defense.

I love Bilas, although he was praising the BET referees last night after totally giving it to Burr the night before?  Did ESPN give him some "guidance" before going on the air?

Yes, Devendouche has been outstanding. Yet, the Orange need and rely on Flynn who is playing like a lottery pick. Very impressed with all aspects of Johnny's game. Without question the BE Tourney MVP regardless of tonight's outcome.

His teammate sent the victim text messages basically apologizing for Devendork and saying that he wanted to say it to her himself...

That seems pretty guilty to me.

Do you? The student council (or whatever they are called) wanted him expelled. Of course I do not know--but he sure looks guilty!! Isn't this an opinion board?

Yeah Bilas was ripping on him after he hit the 3 in their game against Seton Hall right after the intentional foul and 4 technical fouls (in 2 possessions).  He hit the 3 and ran down court trying to look like a thug, and Bilas literally said that he is not tough by doing that, and if he thinks he is then he is largely mistaken.  It was pretty funny.

As much as I hate him....he has been clutch for Syracuse. Making big shots in every game...and the 55 footer was insane.

Agreed. He'll be amazing at pick up games in the Yard when he's 29. And he'll even get to wear the same colors as his alma mater!
