Jimmy's a workhorse. What more can you say. Jimmy and Acker were the bright spots today. Yeah McNeal blew the game today, but I'm going to be feeling a bit more optimistic come tournament time. If Jimmy and Mo play like the way they did today, and McNeal, Matthews, and Hayward knock down some shots, I don't see why this team can't make a deep run in the tournament.
Gives me hope at least. They both played their hearts out and Acker impressed me out their as much as Jimmy did.
Agreed, please give the ball up to Jimmy on the drive or kick it out to Acker.
A really weird quirk, ESPNs box score gave Dominic James an assist. I assume just a computer error, but kind of funny when I saw his name pop up.

As I pointed out in a Cracked Sidewalks column, it's been Wes and Jerel who have not been able to hit anything since Dominic left.
But as well as Acker and Butler have stepped up, I have real hope for next weekend after watching today. If either Wes or Jerel regains their form for a tournament game, we now have all kinds of options. If they both do, we could have a legitimate five scoring threats on the court at a time. Jerel is still drawing 2 and 3 defenders when he drives, he just has to see the other players and get rid of it once he is surrounded.

CBS Sportline did the same thing, except I thought they listed it as a rebound.
