That sucked.
I didnt see it, explain.
as far as I know, nova got a layup 2 at the end and won.
how you don't hammer the guy underneath is beyond me.
we didn't foul the guy because McNeal had his pouty face on about the no call on the other end and let his guy backdoor him. There was nobody else underneath the basket.
Devasting. Jerel misses two shots with a one shot lead, the first one was brutal. JEEZ... Then loses his man on defense, just gave up on his man. Terrible. Just terrible. They had NO timeouts, none. I actually thought they would have to chuck up a shot with 2 seconds, but no.......
What a comeback though, Butler and Acker played awesome. Like I said if it was heart, please give us a 5 or 6 seed.
Beer time
Wow...we had it...then lost it! That hurt!
I feel like I just got kicked in the balls. This one is real tough to swallow. I love Jerel but that was an amazingly bad way to finish a game.
Not a whole lot to explain...
Was a crappy final 40 seconds of what was a thrilling 20 minutes of ball.
What a heartbreaker.
I listened to it at work. I'm sure my co-workers were wondering what the hell I was doing in my office.
Jerry Smith, Brooke Lopez and now Dwayne Anderson. Boy we have had some tough losses over the last three seasons, and these are just the buzzer beaters.
Hopefully we can play heart break hotel against a better seed in the tourney. We will probably be a #7 now.
It hurts so bad.......
Let me preface this by saying I love Jerel McNeal. He has been a true warrior and our mvp for much of the season. That said, he absolutely cost us the game today. In spite of his forcing shots and committing dumb fouls the entire game we were in great position to win if not for his mistakes down the stretch. On our last possession there was no reason to shoot until the end of the shot clock. If we hit the rim the game is basically over. Then he commits a grade school mistake on defense, standing flatfooted watching the dribbler while his man backcuts for an easy layup as time expires. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. His teamates deserved better today.

I was okay until I watched this. HOW DO YOU LOSE HIM THERE!?!?!?1!!1!
I feel ill.
Four guys played their butts off on D while Jerel watched.
f***!!!!!!!!!
I'm freaking pissed. God d**** it.
Sad. Depressed too.
To lose this game after the comeback we had was f-ing crushing. Having the ball twice in the last minute with a one point lead and not able to put it away again is awful. What in God's name was McNeal thinking with that 3PG attempt with 40 seconds left?! Trying to be the hero....not what we needed....we also didn't need his blown defense. This one really hurts.
The constant disappointment around here is taking its toll. Maybe the selection committe with give us a 10 seed to keep the trend going.
Heartbreaker.
I think Jerel's a helluva player. But with DJ not around, he seems to have free reign over the floor when MU has the ball.
We need him, but we need him to play smarter, tuck it in-between his legs, and stop being the BMOC.
Way for MU to come back, but the last possession left me wondering why he shot it when his teammates (essentially four corners) tried to clear the lane for him.
I have a feeling that if this team is one-and-done in the NCAAs, Jerel will be remembered for letting the Anderson go by him.
MU's psyche's shot and this win would have propelled them farther into the tourney.
