"beeep, beeep. this is only a test"
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED???
an emerency alert system test came on right as MU got the ball back and ended as they were reviewing the shot.
Lets see, McNeal had the ball, got the look in his eyes of "I'm gonna' win this f'er" and then drove to the basket and threw up a terrible circus shot with about 13 sec left. Nova wasted a bunch of time, we played good D, and with about 2 second left McNeal lost his guy who got an easy layup with 0 secs left.
Game over. Sad. Mad. I won't say any more.

I'm watching with a co-worker, and the test comes on--we both screamed loud enough for the gal at the front desk to come in all panicked. Nice job Time-Warner--you decide to run a EAS during live programming?
That was horrible. It started right when we were inbounding the ball with about 40 seconds left. All of a sudden, the game broadcast came back on showing a distraught MU sideline and then a pile of Nova players on the court. I don't know what would've been worse-- this or actually seeing the end with my own eyes. :(
thanks alot time warner cable in a bad way
do they think when they do that in the middle of a live mu game
maybe the person who sets those alerts up is a uw fan
