Title: Yesterday and Fulce
Post by: MU B2002 on March 12, 2009, 08:00:48 AM
I know I am probably reaching here....

Fulce seemed to be in good position many times yesterday for rebounds, except we were hitting the shots.  I thought he looked like he had picked up a step since the last time he got extended action.  Maybe I am trying to make his 1 rebound performance seem better, but it seems the potential for bigger things is there...

Baby steps.

Game 1 1 rebound only 3 fouls  ;)
Game 2 1 rebound 2 points...  (A guy can dream right?)

he still doesn't look incredibly comfortable in the flow of the offense though. I'd like to see him more in a wide post position and moving around the paint than popping out to the top of the key like he did on occasion. I am looking forward to watching him next year and hope that he is able to contribute around 5 minutes a game the remainder of the year although with the minimal amount of minutes he's gotten thus far, I'm not holding my breath.

He looked like a guy that hasn't played...looked a lot like Butler did early in the year. A little too much thinking going on, making one a bit slow to react. That goes away with experience. Hopefully he can contribute next year.

Agree with everything said.   His legs looked decent.   He can pass the ball nicely.   He looked like he wanted to make a move, but then chose to make the safe play.   It was still good to see him out there.

Did anyone catch his wing-span? His arms are really long. If he's healthy next year I think he could make a good contribution.
