On Joe Lunardi's bracketology, he currently has Illinois, Purdue, Florida State, and Xavier as 5 seeds and us as 7 seeds.
I cannot imagine the beat down we would actually give these four teams even without James. We still have NBA calibur players and experienced players.
Yeah, that's crazy. I know it's not so simple as to say the top twenty teams in the country should be seeded five or lower/higher?, but those 4 teams do not impress me at all.
I wouldnt worry about that, all we have to worry about is that we win tomorrow. Chances of all 4 of those teams winning their tournaments is slim to none outside xavier. I actually expect illinois and purdue to lose their first games.
The thing about tomorrow's game which I hope that the seeding comittee understands is that Nova or MU would win most of the conference tournaments.
Nova will be a tough defensive matchup for MU, but maybe we will get got and Cubillan can give us some energy again.
Outside of Michigan State the big Televen doesn't have anyone that i see getting past the first round - including Illionois and Purdue
