CSU: 57, Butler: 54
This can't be too helpful to a team like Providence right now. Then again, with DePaul knocking off Cincy, Providence might have to beat Louisville to get a nod anyway.
By having CSU win, that most likely will get UWGB in the NIT, which is good for the state. (I guess)
that bubble might just be Butlers own...without looking it up Butler has simply sucked the last 4 weeks or so

They lost to a bad Loyola team, but they still are ranked, and they will recieve a nod!!! Remember the creamed Davidson on there floor in the bracketbuster.. The Horizon League finished ranked as the 11 best conference, considering there's 33 conferences that's not too bad.
correction 31 conferences
yes, they creamed "mighty" Davidson.

Yeah...no. They lost 2 in a row a couple weeks back, but that's about it prior to yesterday. They're fine, and their resume stacks up just fine against anyone who will be in that 4-8 seed range. This probably knocks 'em down a peg, but that's about it. Potentially one higher slot for MU if we can have a good next couple days.
The media loves to play up Butler as their cinderella team every year. They'll still get a 7 or 8 seed when they deserve an 11 or 12.

If Butler, with an rpi of 18 going into last night, deserves an 11 or 12 seed then Marquette, with an rpi of 31, prolly shouldn't make the tournement!!
Butler has good teams year-in and year-out, kind of a Gonzaga-lite.

Apparently you didn't look at their schedule before making this post.

Beat: Xavier and Davidson
Lost: Ohio St., UWM(tough team... MU knows), Loyola (IL), UW-Green Bay...
This team, although I agree will get into the tournament, shouldn't be ranked higher than MU.
