This line sums it up:  "losing Dominic James is like sawing a leg off a three-legged barstool".

I may have went with a four legged stool though.

If we are one and done in BE tourney the seeding will be very harsh for MU.

I still think a 6, with a drop to a 7 if they lose to Gtown-SJU, and up one line for each win after the opener (i.e. up to a 5 if they beat 'nova, up to a 4 if they beat U of L, up to a 3 if they beat Pitt/UConn/cuse/WVU in the championship game).

Well, I think they went with the "three-pronged bar stool" refelcting that DJ was part of the 3 starring guards they referenced.  Regardless, we have fallen over like the 3 pronged stool.  So far.  Maybe we have learned enough to make adjustments and we will do ok.

If we lose to St. John's I will not be worrying about the seeding. I will be worried about getting a bid. A loss makes the committee take a serious look at us. 0-5 without James is not good, but we must not forget if they start comparing us to other bubble teams our loss at South Florida is going to look really bad. In our last 10 games we will have victories at home against St. John's and Seton Hall and a road win against Georgetown, which at this point is not very impressive.

There is NO WAY. NO WAY that the 5th-place team in the BIG EAST will miss the tournament. Absolutely asinine.
