I can't believe that only one week ago many on this board were talking about the propriety of storming the court. Breaks my heart. I need a new hobby.

That was the jinx on the board. Too many people talking about storming courts and hanging banners as #2 strolled in. Bad karma.
We just got done with the #1 team, and played #6 and #3 on the road. Find a tougher stretch ANYWHERE in the country.
Yeah they got blown out tonight. A lot of teams would get blown out tonight the way Pitt shot it.
We won't face a team as good as UConn, UL, and Pitt until at least the Sweet 16.
I just turned on the Wisconsin/Minnesota game. It's like watching slow motion.
I sort of feel better. Or is it the double vodka?

I don't know about that, we have to play in the BET and could easily see any of the teams we just lost to again...

Our season will be over long before the Sweet 16.

Love the optimism. That is only 2 wins, you know...

it is pretty easy to get smoked when we give up undefended threes.

What did YOU want us to talk about pre UConn?
IU's Candy Stripes?
John Harbough's Ravens?
Stanford over USC?

I don't see us winning two games in the NCAA. Just being realistic. No size and no quality depth. We've been running out of gas in the second half of games. Why would that change now?

Good Lord, did you just make me laugh. Thanks, I needed that.
Awesome DKCL

It's also pretty hard to defend the three when you have to worry about the big men eating the paint up.
MU is just out of gas. Haven't we seen this movie before? Why do I feel like the last three plus years are simply on a loop? I do not see how we win more than one game in either tourney. Hope I am very wrong, but it feels like the horses are gassed. Buzz kill...

Not to be an A-hole, but Rutgers did play the #1, #2, and #3 teams in consecutive games earlier this year... seems tougher to me... however, they to lost every one.

I thought we should talk about UCONN, just not talk stupid like how we were going to celebrate, who was going to hit the floor first in the storming of the court, etc. Bad ju-ju.

Bad ju-ju.
Please - I think the superstitions of players & coaches are ridiculous. Inferring that discussion on a message board has some impact on the team is about equivalent to actually going Cuckoo for the Cocoa Puffs cereal. It's never happened.
Agreed 100%. Would've been totally different if the players were talking like that. What's wrong with being confident fans?

LOL. It depends on your history I guess. Some of us are more superstitious then others. Personally, I don't like talking trash as a fan and think it's bad ju-ju. Maybe it's because for 30 years I watched as an Angels fan how we crapped the bed everytime our fanbase got disjointed. :D
