Time to film some Super Bowl DIRECTV commercials in Miami.
;D
Sorry Bears fans, but this is business and having Peyton win does a lot for us. Go Colts!!!!
go colts!!! any other hoosiers or colts fans at marquette or in milwaukee? or am i the only one that exists?
As of about 4 hours ago, I am a huge Colts fan!
I am so happy the Colts won. I think my skin would not have just crawled, it would have turned inside out if I had to root for Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Holly mackeral! When I last checked in on the game it looked like NE was going to run away with the game. What a surprise for me to read that the Colts won!
biggest comeback in conference championship game history
I am a Hoosier and I enjoyed the Colts game in my Urlacher jersey. I am from NW Indiana and have always associated with the Bears over the Colts. I do remember having a 1990? Eastern Division Colts sweatshirt and an Eric Dickerson starting lineup when I was a kid.
My former roommate (now living in DC) is a die-hard Colts fan from Indy. He was perhaps more excited than me (Bears fan) about getting to the Super Bowl, since watching the Colts lose in the playoffs with him seemed like an annual event while we were at MU. It still has yet to fully hit me.
I'm going out there four days after the game to stay with him for the Georgetown game, so that should be interesting as one of us will obviously be down over a Super Bowl loss. Hey, at least Marquette hoops bring us together ;D
Oh yeah, H-U-G-E Colts fan since day one. I still remember being 7 years old when they pulled into town in those old green and yellow Mayflower trucks. Unfortunately, there wasn't a whole lot to cheer for during my time at MU except when the NFL-worst Colts beat the Packers. That was an awesome day...
Two weekends in a row that MU and the Colts have won on the same day. Any chance the MU game against Providence (and DW3 jersey retirement) can be pushed back a day to 2/4?
Yeah...I was raised a Hoosier fan. Definitely excited to see my 2 favorite teams battle in the SuperBowl. It's going to be tough to cheer against either of those teams.....but I'll definitely be wearing my Urlacher jersey. FIRED UP!!!
BEAR DOWN!!!!
Also a Hoosier here from North Central Indiana (stuck in So Cal, but that's a whole 'nother story). Been a Colts and a Bears fan my whole life...so I'll be pretty happy with either outcome of the Super Bowl, but I'm gonna have to go for the Colts on this one. Go Peyton!
I have 3 clients who are "expecting" tickets... :o
On another note, I almost got kicked out of Champps yesterday before the Colt's game. MU_Pitt heading into overtime....the local CBS switches coverage from that into Colts Pre-Game.....so I missed overtime completely.

Is directv going to shoot 1 peyton manning commercial and just re-cut it 10 different times like they did with the Jessica Simpson ad? ;D
I'm just very happy for Peyton, Archie and Olivia. It's an emotional thing more than anything.
When you work with these people as much as we do, you become close. They are great people. Olivia is Peyton's mom and she's a gem, an absolute gem. Cooper is Peyton's older brother and had a chance to go to the NFL as a receiver but his back problems prevented it. You would think he would be bitter due to Peyton and Eli's success, but the guy is great.
I know Eli takes some grief because of the San Diego situation, but there is so much more to the story that 99.9% of the public doesn't know.
Good for the Mannings. It's been a great association with them and our department as Eli, Peyton and Archie are all spokesmen for the company.
Plus, we finally got out of the jinx. The last couple of years we thought we were becoming SI as many of the guys we signed were having season ending injuries or getting in trouble (Ricky Williams).
Suggesting that Manning's older brother could have played wide receiver in the NFL is a little bit of an exaggeration. I believe speed is a prerequisite.

Eli stinks
He might be a nice guy, but he's got happy feet and lousy mechanics under pressure

Possession receiver type. And yes, he could have played in the NFL according to Archie if his career had kept going. Went to Ole Miss but his injury kept him from ever playing there. Who knows. Cooper is a funny guy.
Eli, just give him time. He'll be fine.
Oh, wait, yes I did. I have read it here about a gazillion times.
How 'bout a moratorium on the DirecTV promos that you provide here so often, Chicos.
