Nope, he left it on the team bus with his blue and gold suspenders
That was bad, but not Bruce Pearl bad.
I was honestly more worried about Pitino in the white suit.
Buzz is not familiar with the old axiom: "Don't let 'em see you sweat." Wow - I never saw anyting like it in a game. . . he is going to have to lather his back with antiperspirantnext time.
Dude needs to get a grip and drop about 20.
Those sweat teas and that weight - not good
I appreciate a guy working his hardest. Are you guys looking for a boyfriend or coach? Checking to see if he's got an undershirt on and all that crap.....dude can wear sweatpants for all I care if we're playing flawless, tenacious D and efficient O.

What is this? Huggy-bear? :D
Mike Brey suggests that mock turtlenecks are a very practical replacement
I have to wonder if he was feeling OK. I don't think I've ever seen him take his jacket off during a game before. However, this time he was wearing a jacket, and took it off pre-game.
why do we care?

I don't see what the big deal is. And what's with the comments about his weight? It's not like he's Rick Majerus.
I heard he was going commando, no drawers ::)

I have. I think it was 1986 -- NIT game, Marquette vs. Indiana in Bloomington. The game went double OT. Majerus started the game in a sports jacket and long-sleeved, light blue shirt. The jacket was gone early, and by the end of the game the shirt looked royal blue. I do not believe there was a spot on that shirt that was not drenched!! I thought Rick was going to have a heart attack; he was so into it -- ass't coaches had to physically restrain him from leaving the coach's box and storming onto the floor at least two times.
Ummm...does Bruce Pearle ring any bells?
How would you people rate Buzz's looks among BE coaches? Is he Top 10?

That was 1985, and I'm pretty sure that was the game where MU finished with four players on the court because of foul trouble(and maybe injuries). Bobby Knight took the mic afterwards and got the Indiana fans to give MU a standing ovation for their effort.
My guess is it was extremly hot in that ol barn today temps were up, as was said he normally does not even take his coat off, My guess is it was real hot in there.
Buzz didn't want to sweat through his jacket so he didn't wear it. I call it the Bruce Pearl starter kit outfit!

That game, oh what a game. Tom Copa at his best. Completely held his own against the inimitable Uwe Blab. With loads of respect to both guys.
As for the sweating, I can't recall that, but I do recall freezing my butt off in my drafty room in McCormick Hall watching the game.

From someone that was there. It was warm, and got warmer later in the game. However, not so bad that he should have been sweating his ass off. That's why I wonder if he was sick.
Keep in mind - we were in the upper deck, and physics sez it should be warmer up there than on the floor.
Rocky, did you guys suck up some suds today or what?

Buzz himself said he has put on some weight since taking the job, implying that he was not happy with that. His face is fuller, youc an see - we just want him to be healty and keep leading our team.

You are right, it was 1985. A classic game. I remember walking out of Assembly Hall in kind of a daze, feeling completely drained.

Because some people on this board care very much about how someone looks, what glasses they wear, the color of their skin, their hair. Why, I have no clue, but some people here care a lot about our coach's physical appearances over the years.
it wasn't that bad. noticeable to say the least, but nothing compared to bruce pearl or day i say, myself
For those with DVR...check the sweat on the baby blue MU jerseys (and shorts)...several were soaked.
He was sweaty it happens.
On a side note, the following is my wife's only input on the game, besides the no-call on Wes...
"Where did the paisley ties go? Two games in a row without it." Coincidence? I think not.
Indiana NIT game, 1985. Returning from spring break. Got a 6 to watch the game at McCormick on my oh-so-cool B&W 13"tv. Willie Hines ends up playing, Pat Foley is the biggest guy on the floor once we got down to 4. Same brutal officiating we complain about to this day. Proceeded to celebrate St. Patrick's day in the time honored freshman fashion, splitting a 5th of Jack with a couple of other guys and then going out for green beer. Two day hangover and can't even stand the smell of Jack to this day. In the top 4 most heartbreaking losses during my time at MU, along with David Rivers, that other last second loss to ND on a tip in (Dolan?) when Boone missed FT's that would have iced it with a few seconds left, and of course the UNC game in 86.

I actually thought that Buzz appeared a little thinner than he has been.

Three years ago, I was on a flight back to Milwaukee from Charlotte just before Christmas, and Majerus was on the flight taking up an entire row of seats. It was about 15 degrees when we landed, but he had a t-shirt and shorts on. I think he's pretty well insulated.
My favorite moment of that flight was that he was sitting on his phone, yammering away real loud about 15 minutes before we were supposed to board. The flight attendent kept calling for "Passenger Majerus," but he either didn't hear her or was ignoring her. Most of the people in the seating area were staring at him knowing full well who he was but he's not a real approachable guy.
