Georgetown leads Villinova 24-23 with 3:23 left in first half. This would be huge if they could pull it out for us.
Now up 32-27 at the half
just started the same post! Here's a little of the help we need
Up 5 at the half. Let's go, Hoyas!
I had a hunch about G'town today. Hopefully that hunch is correct.
How is GU still winning by 5? 19 Turnovers w/ 10 minutes still to play and VU has shot 23 free throws to just 7.
Let's hope they figure out how to play smarter down the stretch.
This game is as ugly as Harangody's mom.
Go Hoyas
I had it on for 10 minutes and in that span Georgetown had more turnovers (11) than shots attempted (6). They simply cannot handle the ball.

Go Hoyas
+1
34.9 left. GT up by 3 with the ball.
lookin' good now.
Random question. Does anyone else see the vertical lines on the left and right on the HD feed? Almost as if there's burn-in? It's not my TV, I have an LCD and I only see it on ESPN. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing it.
wow 56-54 GT 3.5 sec left.
GT has 25 turnovers, missed one and ones, offensive foul out of a time out, blocked lay-up with 1:14 left, turnover by Clark with 31 seconds left, Vill shoots 20 more free throws and Georgetown still wins. Good for us, but it was ugly.
wow no foul!!! wooooooo
Boo yah
56-54!
Thanks Hoyas! Now the double bye is a much better possibility for our Warriors.

I see it too. Didn't see it until you mentioned it.
Thank you Hoyas
Georgetown did their best to blow the game but Villanova just couldn't convert. Reminded me of a big ten game, awful.
not sure either team desrereved to win that one, but Gtown did back on the bubble and helps us. Of all bubble teams with their schedule and list of wins they should get in, IMO
The only way Georgetown stayed in this one is with their defense. I will look at the box score with interest because it seems to me that besides the turnovers, Villanova had a lot of offensive rebounds. Had they shot a decent percentage, they would've blown the Hoyas out.
I credit Hoyas trees inside for stopping the Villanova attack. It is amazing what a height can do for you on defense. I hope in years to come, MU will be able to do the same.
