Title: OAkland Zoo
Post by: NavinRJohnson on January 21, 2007, 05:31:46 PM
Didn't we have to hear ad nausium about what a classy and respectful crowd the Pitt fans were during the UConn game teh other night as part of STudent Spirit week? It made me want to vomit then and now I guess I know why...

From JS Online:

Emotions were also running high elsewhere in the arena. After the second of two consecutive foul calls went against the Panthers, scores of rally towels handed out to fans prior to the game came showering down onto the court.

I guess as long as they are winning their student section is classy and respectful.

They threw their towels because their players were "dirty". ;)

And then the brain trust running promotions at the Pete shot t-shirts into the student section which (surprise) where thrown right back on the court.

BRILLIANT!

Also loved how James was clapping right at them at the end of the game, too.  What a bunch of jackasses, throwing stuff on the court.
