We have 190 people on the board right now.
How about we make a little bit of a push for DJ to get the Cousy Award? It'd sure be a nice way for him to go out. I'm pretty sure you can vote multiple times in a row too (correct me if I'm wrong).
EDIT: You don't even have to put in a valid e-mail address. The e-mail address field just cannot be null (left blank) - you can just put "a" in.
Votes only count with unique email addresses.
I am uncertain that resets every day .. but I know for certain, if you use a blank email, or the same address twice in 1 day, the vote will NOT count.
Just checked out the source code - Just some simple JavaScript. It looks like so long as you include a "@" somewhere in the e-mail address, it's valid. So something like asf@asdf works.
Bump
Dom's in 3rd place. 10% more people.
DJ's currently out of first by only 8%.

Come on folks, let's get James where he belongs!
For some reason, I have this odd feeling that the poll doesn't count in real-time. James was barely moving after the game last night, and there was certainly a good amount of stuffing going on and there were at least 50 more people on the board. Now he's shooting up there.
I could certainly be wrong though.
The criteria:
The Bob Cousy Award presented by The Hartford is given to the top collegiate male basketball point guard annually spanning across all divisions within the game by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The selection criteria emphasize leadership, team work, success, and fundamentals as being critical parts for the game of basketball as a point guard. Nominations are solicited from across the country from head coaches and the winner is selected by a Blue Ribbon Selection Committee made up of the biggest names in college basketball. Nominations for the 2009 award have been collected.. Fans can now vote for Award Finalists.
How can anyone argue that Dominic has not exhibited those characteristics to a tee. Best in the country.
Go DJ!

and 50 people on, doesnt meant 50 are voting... I tend to think that most of the die hard scoopers are daytime posters... and are more likely to vote.
17.93% - 2nd place!
He's gained over half a percent in less than 10 mins... we can do this!

You can vote as many times as you like, with random email addresses. Now, whether those votes will count if they decide to check, who knows. But you can type "FredFlintstone@bogus.com" and "FredFlintstone2@bogus.com" and both votes count.
Not that I would know anything about putting in bogus votes, of course.

SHOULD they check, i would rather my votes counted with legit address then for me to waste my time with votes that might be thrown out.
Indeed, stuffing the ballot box by hand is not very productive.
over 20 percent now....only behind by 1.5 percent. KEEP VOTING
