There were some bad calls by the refs... definitely tough to watch Uconn get an and-1 call for what seemed like 5 possessions in a row, but I don't pin this on them.
Uconn ran a hi-screen essentially every time down the floor (yes the same play we've ran the past 3+ years) and we didn't go over the top of the pick in order to challenge the three, instead we went under the pick every time to help defend against the roll, which left Price wide open all game. He dropped 36 against us allowing him to go 8-13 from 3 point!! We've got to be able to identify what the other team is doing against us, make adjustments and stop it. It was just a shame to see them continually do the same thing and watch us not figure it out.
This has just turned into the season of "what could've been" potentially. I hope not, but it certainly feels that way right now.
I am deflated on so many levels right now. I feel like I played in the game, Dom going down, and of course the overall loss.
