Was it Landry or Lombardi who said when you get to the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Guys, its a moot point.

Security is so tight by the student section at the end of the game, making rushing the court pretty much impossible.

Seriously, it was Sweetness?  I stand corrected.  It's a great quote, no matter the source.

The source of this quote is highly debated. Bear Bryant seems to be the most attributed answer.

It sounds like "coach-speech" so I always assumed it was a coach.

Ummm no.  The quote predates Walter Payton by a few decades.  Jim Brown often gets the credit, but he says it comes from his old coach Paul Brown...and some say it was around before that.

+1 to this thread. we didn't even rush when we beat them 3 years ago and we were unranked.

-1.  I'd like to see everyone rush the court after every win.

-10000000.  We've essentially jinxed ourselves by bringing this up.

It was Lombari. Haven't you guys seen Colin Cole for Eisenberg, Weigel Carlson and Clemmons? Don't drop the ball, make the call!

The Lombardi quote I always remember is the "If you Fail to prepare, prepare to Fail" line.

I chant that to myself in between sips of Red Bull when studying for an exam.

I say skip the court and drink Water St and Wells dry if we win. Not many times as a fan are we put in a state of excitement like this game. In a crappy economy I cannot think of a better way to forget my problems than this game.

It might 25 years before we have a bigger home game, unless Syracuse game is for all the marbles.
