Marquette-UConn is a must-have ticket
Feb. 24, 2009 10:09 a.m.
Tomorrow night's game between the Marquette Golden Eagles and the University of Connecticut Huskies at the Bradley Center is already sold out. But there are plenty of tickets available on the secondary market.
I checked three different online services. Fans can still get a ticket in the $30 range for a seat in the upper bowl of the Bradley Center. And if you want a choice seat - say a few rows from the floor - be preapred to pay close to $300 a ticket.
Marquette is currently ranked 8th in the country; Connecticut is ranked 2nd. Marquette officials say the last time a top 10 Marquette team played another top 10 team in Milwaukee was on Feb. 10, 1979. In that game, Marquette, then ranked 9th in the country, defeated 5th ranked Louisville, 71-55.
