Title: MU #2 Home Power Ranking
Post by: The Man in Gold on February 23, 2009, 12:58:52 PM
TeamRankings.com ranks MU second only to Pitt in their power rankings for games played at home.  A win at the Pete would likely make MU the #1 home team in the country!

Just to add to the challenge of the final 4 games...UConn is rated as the best road team in the country.

Yes - first let's defend our home court on Wednesday.  UCONN is tough, tough tough.
GO MARQUETTE!!!!

UCONN is tough.  We will need the "sixth man" crowd to beat them!  Assuming Riley is coming in for his visit, a big win could make quite an impression on him.  GO WARRIORS!

Home court advantage always seems to get understated by the general media.

Even when I try to be as objective as possible, I still like Marquette to beat UConn. I'm sure everyone remembers the last team a #2 UConn team came to Milwaukee.

On the other hand, I can't seem to convince myself that we have a chance in hell when we go into the Jungle.

Weeknight be damned, I'm hoping to see 19,000 at the game Wednesday. I'll be one of them.
