Just said big ten is right behind the beast, and thinks they will probably get 7 teams. 7?! Hmm must be a gas leak in the arena. And I am assuming its lavin.
I wouldn't put it past him.
He was the same guy who rang up Crean's name multiple times the last time he did an MU game this season.
you gotta think Penn State and Illinois are in after last night's dazzler. Meanwhile, Dracula's boys have drawn THREE personal fouls in 24 minutes in Indiana.
I think Lavin has a man-crush on Bo-Bo..., he's always singing his praises (I remember after they finally stopped their 6 game slide he said "of course you knew Bo Ryan would get this team back on track- this Wisconsin team is too good...., blah, blah..." or some nonsense. 7 teams in the tourney would be an absolute travesty. 4 teams may be too many.
At this point I would expect 7 teams each fron the ACC, Big East & Big 10. The Big 10 will have the worst NCAA first round record of the three 7 team bid conferences.
Providence and Cincy are fighting for the 8th spot. Providence at 8-6, 16-10 plays Notre Dame, Pitt, @ Rutgers & @ Villanova. Cincy at 7-6, 17-9 plays Louisville, West Virginia, Syracuse, @ South Florida and Seton Hall. They need to finish 10-8 and get a first round Big East tournament win to be sure to get a bid.

Penn State only committed 8 fouls in the entire game against Illinois.
Lavin's story about how Tan Tommy recruits to I,I made me puke a little in my mouth.
The NCAA is concerned that their ratings might be too high for this years tournament, so they figure putting 7 teams who enjoy shooting the ball at a 30% rate and put up 50 points a game will really help this cause.
The strange part of Lavin was that when WI was on the losing streak I heard how WI suffered because of its youth and inconsistent veteran play. They win a few games against average competition and Lavin tells us that WI is a great veteran team.
The reality is that WI is finally playing some defense.
