Dickie V. to call MU-UConn
Feb. 17, 2009 12:01 p.m.
There will be a Hall of Famer on the sideline for next Wednesday's UConn-MU game at the Bradley Center.
Dick Vitale, a recent inductee into the Basketball Hall of Fame, is scheduled to call the action between the Huskies and the Golden Eagles along with partner Dan Shulman on ESPN.
This will be Vitale's first appearance at the Bradley Center for an MU game since the 2006-'07 season, when he and ESPN Gameday were in town to broadcast Pittsburgh-MU.
Also, Vitale will be signing copies of his book, 'Dick Vitale's Fabulous 50 Players and Moments in College Basketball: From the Best Seat in the House During My 30 Years at ESPN' at the MU Spirit Shop at Alumni Memorial Union from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Can we have the annoying ticker going accross the top of the screen as well?
Maybe we should just sign Dickie V to a PR contract like duke and hear him be partial to MU all game long.....
Don't give a rat's ass about DV. But, if EA is present, that's a different story. So hot, want to touch the heine.
Hope he sounds a litte better than he did tonight, anyone else catch any of the MSU Purdue game?
His voice was toast. I imagine that isn't good when you consider he had throat surgery a few years back.
