Friday we were a 3 seed. Our S-curve rank according to Lunardi was 12 on Friday, 15 today. The three teams that passed us on the S-curve over the weekend were Missouri, Kansas, and Xavier.
Missouri- Beat Nebraska
Xavier- Beat Fordham
Kansas- Beat Kansas State
Can somebody pleas explain to me how beating Nebraska or Fordham justifies jumping us?

and we're playing UNI whom we already played this year. weird.
Were we a #4 when we make the final 4 in 2003 or a #3?
I am thinking we were a #3 based on our Sweet 16 game against Pitt(#2), but I could be wrong.
Correct, we were a 3 seed in 2003.
Has Kansas beat a ranked team yet this year?

Nope, 0-3 against them per the 'mu is 5th most likely to make a run' thread.
If we're a 4 now we could well be middle tier seed even if we go .500 to close out the season, which would be an accomplishment.
who really cares what our projected seed is on 2/16

Exactly. I think our seed will definitely be determined by how we handle the long-awaited final 5 games.
