I got 2 tickets through MU and was wondering if anyone esle is going and if anyone knows how many MU fans might be present. Can't imagine Big East schools giving many tickets to opposing teams.
My gf and I are going. She picked up the tix through MU also, so we'll probably be in the same section. I'll be the guy in yellow. ;)
be careful, WashDC. My son and I went down to Pittsburgh to watch the Islanders play the Penguins the other night. My son is a huge Islanders fan and wore one of their orange jerseys, and between periods one of the classy Pitt fans spit at him as we were walking down the concourse to get a beer. That town's fans are hard-core.
I think I'll manage at Pitt. It's just Philly (Eagles) fans that give me the willies.

I went to the Pitt game last year with my 7-year-old daughter -- both of us wearing plenty of Marquette gear. We had a great experience at the game and the Pitt fans were some of the friendliest and classiest I've experienced. I can't comment on Penguins fans and can't explain the Pitt fans who spent so much time at the Rivals board last year. But the Pitt fans at the game were great.
Two years ago I went out to the Pirates vs. Brewers series to see PNC Park (which by the way is the best ballpark in baseball) and the Pirate fans were great. There was a little jeering - but it went both ways and was a lot of fun. I had a great time in the city too.
Hey, guys going to the game .. bring your digital camera and take some pictures and post 'em up!
