I've seen this movie before. I'll believe Favre is "retired" when he sits out a season -- and even that might be a bit premature.
...and cornerbacks everywhere are dissapointed.
I guess we should start the pool for when he declares he is coming back. I am going for late April, probably the 23rd.
can we continue this conversation once the weather gets warm and favre realizes he won't be satisfied just played pickup in his backyard and throwing footballs through hanging tires, sporting his real.comfortable.wrangler jeans?
Don't forget about throwing footballs across lakes.
Maybe he will call up the 27 or so quarterbacks that played for the Bears while he was at Green Bay so they can see his Superbowl Ring... and admire his three MVP trophies.
Cade McNown called, he wants back in the NFL... no one would listen.
Brett would do well to talk to Terry Bradshaw.
Bradshaw held onto bitterness about the team, the coach, the owner, the fans and how he perceived he had been treated when he left.
He realized years later how much genuine love he had for them and vice versa and was finally able to put it aside and reconcile with them.
