QuoteMarquette & Villanova both at my hotel tonight
Odd. Usually the opposing teams stay at neighbor hotels, but not many nice hotels around here i guess. Caught Marquette as they were heading out to Scamp's, this sushi/seafood place in Conshohocken. Players from both teams were hanging out together, down in the lobby. Chatting and socializing.
It's so funny that people think these players hate each other, simply because of a rivalry. They have much more in common than 90% of their other fellow university students.
The bigger question: why is nova at a hotel?
MU stays (or at least did last year) in the Hyatt downtown for home games. Probably an easier controllable environment to supervise a bunch of 18-22 y/olds, which also allows them to focus on the game.

If that's true, then this isn't the first time Marquette and Villanova shared a hotel. I stayed at the Hyatt on new year's eve and checked in the same time as the Villanova coaches. I shared an elevator ride with who I now know is Jay Wright. He was wearing a Villanova hat and asked my friends and I what group we were with. (I think he thought we were part of the college leadership conference the hotel was sponsoring.) My friend responded that we were from Marquette and he was very impressed by the fact that we came back to Milwaukee to see the game over break.
That being said, I'm sure its not uncommon for visiting teams to stay at the Hyatt, especially because of its close proximity to the Bradley Center.
You are correct, in fact I do not remeber another team not staying at the Hyatt when in Milwaukee.
