and if so, what did he say????
let me guess... "i'm not smart and i'm really not good with numbers but I don't think 10-23 from the free throw line is good". ;D
He was, I caught the first part of it, from what I recall:
- The team didn't play their game, they "got out of character" in the first half and didn't get enough paint touches.
- Defensively, Buzz thought MU was good, but MU only shot 39% as opposed their 49% average coming in
- Mac asked about how many of the threes were bad. Buzz said the total number didn't concern him(24), if they had all been good shots. But tonight they weren't. He said a lot of them were bad but didn't have specific numbers
- The final play went exactly how they drew it up. 10 seconds wasn't enough time to swing the ball. They wanted Wesley to drive to the basket and either get fouled or take the shot. He thought Hayward and Butler both had good chances at tips but didn't make it
- Free throws were bad. He mentioned Jerel 6 of 12, but he was more upset that Wesley only took 2 free throws
I stopped listening after that, so I don't know what else was said.
Call me paranoid... but I'm still worried about Wesley's knee.
I just hope this isn't a Gallardo situation where he seems fine, then something shows up the next day.
Did Buzz say anything about it?

Not that I heard, but I was listening in my car and got out before the interview was over.

He said he did not know the exstent of the injury but wasn't too concerned. He also said he is still "not good" when his players get injured.
Here's what I was able to type down while listening to it:
Wes's drive was drawn up.
Wished Jerel didn't foul out. Last time, he fouled out was in a loss.
USF guards were hard to guard. Held them to 41%. Still wasn't good enough for us to win.
Some of the threes were too quick. 11 of 17 paint touches, 2 of 11 on non-paint touches in the first half.
Wes only shot two FTs. That's why he got the ball in the end. Thought USF would struggle guarding him and possibly foul him.
A lot better defensively (rebounding) in the second half.
Wes's knee locked up, possible hyperextension. He looked okay but might be sore tomorrow.
