Jerry Wainwright, DePaul's Head BB Coach, was interviewed today on the score (670AM) by Hamp and Holmes today around 11AM.

In addition to complimenting MU's stiffling D, he was talking about was talking about what it means to have a point guard and what he means for the team.
He said the PG is an extension of the coach on the floor. It is his job to communicate the philosophy of the head coach. If the PG is not in synch with the nead coach, it doesn't work.

Ok, DJ 2007/2008 versus DJ 2008/2009. I guess DJ understands Buzz and is able to convey Buzz's philosophy to the rest of the team.
Or was Wainwright taking a shot at his own player. I think he was number 0. We looked him up after the game.

Munster? Even his Birth Place Sucks.
And he's not a true freshmen, he played in 5 games last year.
I heard that and was really surprised. After 4 years, and 12 of hisown recruits on the team, we still don't have one.
BTW, Bizoukas came down with Mono last year and medical redshirted. He hasn't seen much PT until recently. He did have 8 assists against MU. But, he still can't shoot.
Wainwright did also call Fields the best PG in the Conference. I think there are a few ahead of him.
