How is attendance calculated at games (tickets sold, people through the gate, etc)?

Clearly there were NOT 11,000 people at the game on Tuesday.

Does DePaul do it differently than other teams?

How does MU do it?

MU counts tickets sold. That is how 6000 looks like 12,000 when MU plays Texas Southern
