I have been very impressed with Jerels play lately. he has really put it alltogether. I have been critical of his decison making in the past, syaing if he could improve his decison making he could contend for a lottery draft position. He has. If jerel can keep his turnovers to 3 or less a game he and MU are very very good. BE player of the year front runner at this point and 2nd team all american with first team possiblityies determined over the next 3 weeks.
well good morning (in all senses of the phrase) MR. HAYWARD ;D
It is getting to be that the MUSCOOP game stud is simply a matter of inserting new stats for McNeal. Given the wicked stats for James, Mathews and most nights Hayward...perhaps one of these games a picture of all four studs goes up with a link to the box score.
I don't know....just ask the guys to the West....McNeal vs Hughes/Jbo/Flowers is no contest. They were right, those three can't hold McNeal's jock.
Don't you mean 'Rel, like ol' Buzz Lightyear says it??
I understand Luke Harrangody has put up big numbers again this season, but his team is struggling so mightily I can't see him claiming Big East Player Of The Year honors. I think McNeal has earned the award at the midway point of the season. He will cement his standing as the conference's best player if the final 9 games even remotely parallel what he's done thus far. There has never been a doubt in my mind he's been the team MVP for quite some time. Replaying just how meager MU's performance was against Michigan State without him two years ago is all the proof I need to support those thoughts.

I agree with McNeal as MVP, however using his absence as a reason (vs. Mich State) doesn't really prove it for me. We have so little depth that if ANY of the Big Four go down we are suddenly a very average team. We must pray to stay healthy, as this team is an #8-#12 Big East team without any of the Big Four.
