Title: Pull me off the ledge
Post by: classof70 on February 03, 2009, 06:48:43 PM
Perhaps "the ledge" is a little hyperbolic, but it is games like the one tonight that scare me.  DePaul at home with nothing to lose.  MU too relaxed and looking ahead.  Anyone else worried?

worried more about my 401(k) value than tonight's game.  Buzz is going to have this team ready - book it.

Nope.

It's going to be the best road game environment in a long time.

And remember the big three are seniors.  I haven't seen anything yet this season to indicate they are taking their foot off the gas.

I am worried that stepping on the court with a winless team leaves a chance of the unthinkable.  But its unlikely.  We have a team that puts tons of pressure on a team.  I can't imagine DePaul playing good composed basketball out of the blue.  I do hope they put more effort than the first time around.  I was at the last meeting and they looked too confident that they were going to win and DePaul was going to lose.
