that three he hit to beat back the Cards just a bit was CLUTCH......it started an 13-4 run for MU  -- and a 14 point lead with 7 mins to play.

DJ had several bigtime shots in the 2nd half that helped kill the momentum of the cards.  The back-to-back threes were huge.

Saw a Slick Rick post game comment that DJ has the maturity of a 40-yr old.  While I wouldn't take it quite that far (recall the unnecessary late half forearm shiver that resulted in the offensive foul) he did play a great game.  He has shown considerably better play and more maturity in the last 3 conference games as opposed to the first 2.

Hopefully the shot selection keeps getting better and they keep on falling....especially at the Oakland Zoo.

I thought DJ took game into his own hands in 2nd half. A week ago we would have been complaining about DJ's shots if they didn't go in. I still think we could have moved ball around instead of having DJ dribble around and jack it up. I guess the difference in jacking it up and shooting is if they go in. It almost seemed like DJ did what he wanted when McNeal was out. I'm very happy about win, but we could have worked ball harder.
