There is no way the Jerel lasts until 45!  Assuming he continues to play at a high level.

Alot of the draft depends on hype though, if MU goes deep in the tourney and Jerel or WM blow up then they could end up in the top 20.

I'm not too sure "hype" is that big of a factor.  Tyler Hansborough had all the hype in the world, along with the Kansas players and there prospectus/draft position was nothing spectacular.  In recent draft potential has been by far the biggest factor...

In the previous post that I started about NBADraft.net last week, it showed Gody going 57th right before Lazar in the 2010 draft.

no it's not. he is not going to be able to complete in the NBA next year with his current skill set. I don't care how many double doubles he gets while at ND. He'll have to show more consistency and speed because he will not be able to play the 5 at 6'8" at the next level.

I used to think the same thing, but if Kevin Love can play in the NBA Gody can to.  Gody has really really improved his jumper and back to the basket fade aways...he'll play in the NBA.

But to stay on point, there is no way McNeal falls to 47, just no way.  He may win the Big East's POY award for chr*st sake!  First team for sure.

Gody was BE POY last year.  If you want to make the case he is 58th best, then you cannot use JM making BE POY this year as a reason he should be better than 48.  Let's be consistent

Gody can shoot the lights out, he will play in the NBA.

Good point, but still......first rounder.

It may have been updated, but we've had a thread about this topic including links to NBADraft.net about a week ago.
