I feel like a woman saying this but I might cry on senior night. All the "we are not a top ten team" people need to eat it. This team is really really good. They create turnovers and hit big shots. How many times this season have we seen this team put the clamps on and hit big shots to pull away.
I was totally thinking the same thing. These three guys are special players.

I think this team can beat anyone as long as they are within 5 points at half time.
Their D wears their opponents down and they just can't get it done down the stretch. We've seen MU beat teams in the last 7-8 minutes based on their intense style of play. They hit the big shots when they need to.

I can't make it because my Mom is deploying just a few days after the game, so I'll be flying home to see her off.

This is a stinkin' blast. I am proud of the team and proud of the coach. I'm glad to be able to witness this kind of a season.

That video needs to be about 40 minutes long and they should sell it. They can't do the video justice by doing the typical 8 minutes or whatever it is.

Seriously, though, I've seen very few teams, MU or not, like this. And I don't know when I'll see one like this again, so I'm going to strap in and enjoy the ride.
This has been a remarkable season so far - unreal. Noone would have guesses we'd be 8 - 0 in the BEast this year. 19-2 overall. WOW. And I believe the focus only on the next game is great.
Now. . .let's make sure we take care of our upcoming road game against DePaul. :)

This start is the most fun I have had with my clothes on since I made a hole-in-one. What a blast. Of course we are going to lose a couple, possibly a few, but 8-0 is so sweet.

I was a doom-and-gloomer after the Tennessee game. I have never been more proud to admit on this board how wrong I was. ;D
Its an absolute certainty these seniors will be missed and that a lot of tears will be shed on senior night; that being said lets finish up strong and bring home some hardware!!!
This is a team I will tell my grandchildren about. I don't want the Syracuse game to come I want this to last forever. :'(
I am loving every second of this. The crowd on Saturday was as good as any crowd in the past few years. There were points where it was so loud you felt it, and I know it affected Georgetown. And it wasn't even February yet. I can't wait to see what that place is like for UConn and Cuse.
Other than the 03 team, I can't remember a Marquette team that had the extra gear that this team does. It's like they fall back, claw even, inch ahead, then they hit this level of play that nobody has been able to match in conference play.
The poise they show is awesome, and I think a lot of it comes from the trust placed in them by Buzz. There were a lot of points, against ND specifically, where TC would have taken a "momentum timeout." Buzz just lets them play through it, and every time they managed to get a bucket that shut the crowd up.
Like I said to a couple of friends on Saturday... This team has two things going for it- Senior leadership and freaking bowling balls between their legs.
